As an expert in construction, roads, telecommunications and energy networks, property, transport and major infrastructure concessions, VINCI serves, and has always served, cities.
At a time when all the major challenges of the 21st century – mobility, sustainable development, land-use planning, employment and diversity –are concentrated in cities, VINCI wants to make a concrete contribution to thinking on the city of the future.
How should sustainable buildings, neighbourhoods and cities be designed? How can cities best be shared?
These are the challenges VINCI faces on a daily basis and the questions the Group wants to see at the centre of public debate.
This is why VINCI has created the City Factory, a think-tank tasked with generating innovative ideas on sustainable cities by studying the points of view of all the various stakeholders.
