Antoine Picon, an officially certified French architect since 1984, received his doctorate in history at the “École des Hautes Études en
Sciences Sociales,” in 1991. Furthermore, he has been a Professor of the history of architecture and technology at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design since 2002 and a researcher at l’École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées since 2008. Moreover, Antoine Picon is a member of the Academy of Technologies and President of the Le Corbusier Foundation.
Antoine Picon has received numerous prizes for his work, most notably the Grand Prix of l’Imaginaire in 2003 for his essay “Dictionary of Utopias” with Michèle Riot-Sarcey and Thomas Bouchet.
