Mobility and inequalities
About
The energy transition in mobility is a major challenge for public policies and is essential to achieving the objectives of the Paris Agreements. Price increases, driving bans, parking restrictions: the means to act on everyday mobility can indeed lead to serious economic and social distortions.
Indeed, the possibilities of access to mobility, and even more so to low-carbon mobility, are not equal for all. Individuals do not have the same capacity to cope with the new transport imperatives.
