Architect and a doctor in urban planning
Lucie Morand Morand is an HMONP architect and a doctor in urban planning. Her research explores environmental planning strategies in Chinese cities, and earned her various awards (Fondation Palladio, French Ministry of Foreign Affairs). After working for six years between France and China, first in an architecture office and then at the French Embassy in Beijing, Lucie Morand taught at the University of Hong Kong and at the Paris Malaquais and Versailles schools of architecture. Since 2019, she has been advising local authorities and urban planning stakeholders on sustainable development at Suez Consulting. Her appraisal concerns bioclimatic and urban metabolism approaches, which also encompasses water management and conservation issues.
