Céline Acharian, new General Manager of La Fabrique de la Cité
On 1 September 2022, Céline Acharian took up her position as Managing Director of La Fabrique de la Cité.
A former student of the École normale supérieure (Philosophy, 96), Céline holds a degree in Modern Literature, a Master’s in Philosophy and a Master’s in Political and Social Communication. She was previously head of Communications and Digital of the Autorité de Sûreté Nucléaire (ASN), the public authority responsible for controlling the safety of nuclear facilities in France. Céline Acharian was responsible for initiating and supporting the digital transformation of the ASN and developing a policy for involving the public and stakeholders.
As the director of communications at the French National Institute for Research in Digital Science and Technology (Inria) between 2006 and 2017, she has been at the forefront of the digital transformation of French society, working closely with researchers in digital science and at the core of innovation ecosystems.
Céline Acharian will open the third edition of the “Rencontres des villes moyennes” (FR), on the importance of medium-sized towns in reindustrialisation. On 28 and 29 September in Saint-Dizier, the “Rencontres des villes moyennes” will bring together a hundred or so elected representatives, experts and public and private decision-makers in the presence of Caroline Cayeux, Minister for Local Authorities, and Amelie Oudéa-Castéra, Minister for Sport and the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
