Senior Representative for Industrial Regions
Olivier Lluansi, a graduate of École Polytechnique, has had a varied career spanning both the public and private sectors. An engineer from the Corps des Mines, he began his career at the European Commission, then at the Nord-Pas-de-Calais Regional Council. He subsequently joined Saint-Gobain, where he oversaw the company’s operations in Central and Eastern Europe. He also served as an industry and energy advisor to the Office of the President of the Republic and established the “Territoires d’industrie” initiative launched by the Prime Minister. He is a full professor at the Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers, teaches at the École des Mines, and participates in several think tanks, including Le Lab Bpifrance, La Fabrique de l’industrie, and the Lab des Forces françaises de l’industrie, which provide him with a genuine vision of the industry of tomorrow.
Olivier Lluansi published “Réindustrialiser, le défi d’une génération” (Reindustrialization: The Challenge of a Generation) in 2024, and “Les néo-industriels, l’avènement de notre renaissance industrielle” (The New Industrialists: The Dawn of Our Industrial Renaissance) in May 2023. He is also co-author of “Vers la renaissance industrielle” (Toward an industrial renaissance).
