Director of Ethics and Conduct
VINCI
Céline Acharian joined the VINCI Group in September 2022 as Executive Director of La Fabrique de la Cité and also helped raise the profile of Leonard, the Group’s innovation and foresight platform. In February 2026, she was appointed Director of Ethics and Conduct at VINCI and joined its Executive Committee.
A graduate of the École normale supérieure (Philosophy, ’96), Céline holds a DEA in philosophy, a bachelor’s degree in modern literature, and a DESS in political and social communication. After several years of teaching, she gained extensive experience in journalism and communications, working at agencies and in the nonprofit sector. In 2006, she joined Inria, a research institute in digital sciences, as the head of relations with economic and political decision-makers within the executive management team. She then joined the communications department, where she held various editorial and managerial roles before becoming Director of Communications in 2012. Working closely with research in digital sciences and at the heart of innovation ecosystems (notably French Tech), she helped drive the digital transformation underway in our society for about a decade.
She moved from the digital sector to the energy sector in 2017 and took over as Director of Communications and Digital Usage at the French Nuclear Safety Authority (ASN). This independent authority is responsible for overseeing nuclear safety as well as protecting people and the environment; it places public information at the center of its priorities, particularly in times of crisis. Céline Acharian was also tasked with initiating and supporting the ASN’s digital transformation and developing a policy for engaging the public and stakeholders. She has also been actively involved in the work of Communication Publique, the association of communications directors from public institutions and organizations serving the public interest.
