Chris Osgood, Chief of Streets of the City of Boston, presents the City’s urban transport plan for 2030. Entitled GoBoston 2030, this plan is the result of a dialogue with the local population. It seeks to address the current shortcomings of the public transport network. Focused on the local dimension and on transportation issues between Boston and its suburbs, GoBoston 2030 aims to make transportation in Boston more flexible. Building on a development of alternative transport to the car as the bus or the car, the city is particularly active in using big data to optimize its transportation network and making it more adaptable.
